What We Found in Customer Feedback

This is a case worth being precise about: the complaints we found are almost entirely about individual sellers and their listings, not about LandWatch's own legitimacy as a company. Reviews on ResellerRatings describe specific frustrations: listings advertised as land for sale that were actually monthly leases, sellers allegedly claiming rights to multiple parcels or property they didn't own, and in one detailed account, a buyer who drove 1,800 miles based on listing claims that didn't hold up on inspection.⁵ Separately, some reviews describe billing and cancellation friction with LandWatch's own paid "premier listing" product for sellers, including being charged after requesting cancellation.⁵ A smaller review sample on Knoji shows a mixed 4.0 out of 5 average based on just 15 ratings.⁶
